Candy Crush Saga Dreamworld level 182

Tips for level 182 Dreamworld
I believe this to be one of the hardest levels of the whole game, and I'm including the normal game as well as Dreamworld.
You have to make 15 stripes in 4 squares.
Top left are bombs, top right are licorice blocks, bottom left is chocolate and bottom left are cream blockers.
All the squares are connected by teleports but the left side can't move to the right until you have made a way through the cream blockers.
When you first start to play  stop and look at the board before you make a move.
First check bottom right. If you can destroy the chocolate in one or two moves do it first. If you can't destroy it don't waste moves in that section, ignore it and go to the bombs.
The bombs must be destroyed or it will be game over.
Then work on opening up the cream blockers so your candies can move through to the other side. If you haven't destroyed the chocolate be careful not to let any stripes fall into the bottom right square or they will be eaten by it.
All the time be looking for stripe patterns but be very careful of the owl, sometimes you have to leave a strip unmade to avoid unbalancing him.
Once your candies are moving freely you can work on the right side to arrange candies on the left into the patterns you need. If you see more than one stripe make the top left one first, then bottom left, top right and last bottom right. That way you won't move candies that you had set up.
Two moonstrucks on this level on move 18 and move 3 with 2 moves in each.. GOOD LUCK!

Damn. Got it en then the game froze :) :)

I ment :(

I think you need to have the chocolates cleared to keep the candies flowing. That was the game I won.

I finished the game WITH the chocolate still in the board, and... :-( Same shit: the game froze.

I never had this before and all the time I read it in previous levels on this blogspot I was thinking, "oh, I must have been lucky, never had that kind of shit"...

Now I have it... and at one of the most impossible levels ever, playing it for over 150 times:-((((((

S H I T!

No luck in the Netherlands!

This level is horrible! Most of the time, I am left with one bomb that I can't get rid of. I've only gotten 6 stripes at most! This is impossible! I hated it in regular Candy Crush and I hate it here. No way to make a color bomb either!

I have played this quite a few times. I think the developers either need to add 5 moves or take away 5 stripes! The closest I have gotten to finishing is 6 stripes remaining with 3 on the board and I ran out of moves! I agree that if you can take out the chocolate in one or 2 moves, do that first. Next get rid of the bombs. Concentrate on making stripes and taking out the layer of merangue to increase the area of play. I wish these levels weren't back to back! 181 was pretty brutal also.

I have played this hundreds of times now. Closest I've gotten is two stripes left! This is by far the hardest level of Dreamworld yet. I refuse to be beaten by a little owl!

I'm glad someone else agrees this is the absolute most devilish level in this whole d@#% game! I'll be glad when the developers come up with more levels on the other side, so I can leave this Dreamworld alone for a while!

I agree Imani! No matter what I try, I'm destined to stay here forever. Like I said in an earlier post, the developers need to add 5 moves or take away 5 stripes. I keep hitting back on my phone to set up new boards, so I can clear the chocolate on the first two moves and also have a good set up for the bombs. It's tedious! I hated the similar level on Candy Crush as well.

I really hate the dream world and would much rather have more regular games. I only play here waiting for new levels in the real Candy Crush. I guess it's easier for King to release old levels in dream world mode but ... Yuck.

With that said, remember you get a free spin every day. Here's the place to use one of those color bombs. Hit it with a stripe and you are done. I have the stripe paintbrush (best investment I ever made) but if you don't it might take a couple of times. The spin seems to land on the color bomb a lot so you should have some stockpiled. Here's where to use it.

Thank you April 16th anonymous! I do have 8 color bombs accumulated. I used one on one attempt but I didn't like that it showed up in the top right box. I'll try it again. I just got more levels on my phone for Candy Crush this morning so I am giving Odus a rest!!!

This level is ridiculous. You have to get 15 stripes in 30 moves while dealing with chocolate, 4 layerd icing blocks, and bombs. The grids are 4x4 so you can't make a color bomb to use with a stripe candy. And on top of that, you always have to worry about the owl falling. That makes this level nearly impossible.

To anonymous on April 16th: if you have a color bomb from the booster wheel, use it! Try to get a stripe next to it and it will be easier to pass this level.

It's interesting. I didn't find this that difficult. Sure, it took about 30 tries, BUT I was stuck on 181 for 10 days and on this level for less than one. What I did like was that Odus is not very shaky on this level. I found it necessary to clear that chocolate and get rid of that meringue so you could make combos in all four squares.

I finally passed this! I came back to it after passing level 560 on Candy Crush. No more new levels on my phone yet! I took one person's suggestion of using a color bomb from my booster wheel specials. It showed up in the top left corner, with the bombs! I was careful not to disturb it. I ignored the chocolate in the bottom right and worked on getting rid of the bombs. While doing that, I created a red striped candy right next to the color bomb. I made a couple of more moves to get more reds on the board. I paired them up and got rid of 11 stripes! I was afraid Odus might fall because one of his perch colors was red but he didn't! I had 4 stripes left to make and plenty of moves as well. I finally did it! 2 stars! Yay!!!!

How do you get a stripe paintbrush someone was talking about? I agree, this is by far the WORST level ever, in both worlds. I too am waiting on them to release more levels in the regular world. I absolutely HATE this level. I barely get close. I see how saving a color bomb would help, but it's giving me boosters that I don't need for this level. It seems to give you boosters based on the level you are on in the real world of candy crush. So I will keep wasting my time on this level until they release more, because I honestly don't think I will ever beat this one... SIGH!

OK, finally gave in and used one of the color bombs from the daily spins. I was able to combine it with a stripe that only had 6 of that color on the board. (Without boosters the best I had done was 7 left.) But besides creating those 6 stripes, it also cleared the chocolate and the bombs and made a good dent in the cream. That cleared up the board which helped clear space for more to form during the moonstruck.

Without the booster... I don't want to think about that, not after being stuck on the previous level for so long.

Well, I'm finding out that after passing level 199 (it took me almost 7 weeks, with no boosters), every single level afterwards is a struggle! I'm now in stuck level 203, and it's been 3 weeks since I passed 199. I don't mind challenging levels, but one after another it's kind of killing the fun of the game for me.

Frustrating and no fun at all, if you get lucky (very lucky) you could finish this round first go, but that's it, pure luck. More often than not you get stuck in the top left hand corner hoping for a lucky shuffle but just getting useless moves. As people say, one colourbomb could do it (I only had one saved and the fucking owl fell off) a clever design to make people pay I suppose.

Glad to hear it is not just me getting frustrated at L182, must be close to a month now (but only playing when waiting for new releases in main game) and closest is two remaining - 5 lives don't last long!

I've also had unkind drops when using freebie colour bombs - luck so bad at mo I haven't even been able to spin them up of late!

Now whinge has been released, sure it will will turn things around :)

Haven't seen a video clip yet where made it through without a booster, although I reckon the drop pattern on the video on this page could have made it if played correctly.

I was stuck on this level for ages!!!.. the only way i was able to do it, was with the help of a free booster color bomb and matching it with a striped candy...

Anonymous said...

To the person who asked about how to get the stripe paintbrush...you can't get it any more! For some unknown reason, the charms were eliminated from the game. It's probably a good thing for you though as that paintbrush cost $40!

LOL - One of the EASIEST levels in the game...IF...and ONLY if... you have a color bomb from the wheel AND the stripe paintbrush. You create a stripe on the first move next to your color bomb, set it off and even if you don't get 15 stripes you will be close - I had 13 and Odus didn't fall (thank goodness!) I finished it several moves later. I know that dang brush was expensive but it preserved my sanity on this level! In the regular game this level was almost impossible if you didn't buy a color bomb. The wheel didn't exist at the time and you can't make a bomb in the game.

Interesting...I got this first time out on the PC. I was able to get rid of the chocolate in one move, then the bombs in another two. During the moonstrucks, I concentrated on making the stripes. I figured once they were on the board, I could match them. I was stuck on 181 for over a month, so was thrilled to be past this so quickly.

Anonymous said...

Finally clear it on Android without using any specials after a month later. For me, if I find I can't clear the bombs in the first few moves, I would exit and come back again.

You know you have a chance to pass when you have a sequence of combos. Otherwise, dun bother continuing and save time for the next match.

I really hate this level. I was on 181 a long time, now this! I took the suggestion to use the color bomb, and it got put in the chocolate section where there were no moves possible! It got eaten on the third move. Thanks a lot, you stinkin' little bird!

Anonymous said...

You got it by paying money. Paying money is literally the only way to complete this level. It cannot be done without a booster.

Oh, and the wheel seems to have stopped giving anything except coconut wheels and hammers since I got here, so forget about trying to get a colour bomb. Such blatant fraud.

I finished this level after a few tries, earning 3stars (had 2 moves left). No problem at all! Just follow the tips given for this level. OK, I had the opportunity to clear the chocolate in 2 moves and went on, in my mind the tips. Eliminated the bombs (no problem if falling down) and created 3 stripes where possible. Then cleared the merangue. Always remember that you take care of how the candies will be falling and how you can use this for your own strategy. Wish you good luck! KC

Oh.. That's how. I was wondering how the vid had chocolate bomb when it is impossible to create one. Hmm..
Is it still possible to win without chocolate bomb? I don't see how:(

Anonymous said...

Hi, KC! Congrats! Did you win this level without using a color bomb from wheel?
I'm feeling defeated at this level:(

Romi said...

Soon after I posted a comment, I was given great board one after another. Then I was able to beat this level with 3 stars with 3 lives left:) it happened just like this when I was stuck at an another tough level. So people, post your comments on this site! That, is the secret of beating this level :)

Finally gave up. Used chocolate bomb from booster wheel, patiently waited until a striped candy fell next to the color bomb, then combined the two - time to move on.

Said in the blog this was harder than 181. Well, not for me. 181 cost me a week and a booster (hammer) and this was done in the third try without boosters.
