Candy Crush Dreamworld Level 277

How to do level 277 Dreamworld
Level 277 is a very interesting Dreamworld level in that there is no Odus or Moonstruck!
I don't know if it is intended to be this way or if it's just an oversight by the developer. King.
The orders needed to complete this level are 19 wrapped candies in 40 moves, with nine already provided, frozen in ice on the left side of the board.
So apart from making ten more you will need to fire stripes or a colour bomb into the ones on the left to unfreeze them and make them available for use.
However, once you unfreeze and detonate the wraps on the left you will release bombs from the dispenser at the top.
So the easiest way to complete level 277 without worrying about the bombs is to only unfreeze 2 wraps together, then leave them while you make more on the right side of the board, when you have enough you can detonate the unfrozen ones by switching them together which will cause a chain reaction and you will be able to collect all the needed wraps.
However, whilst this method will help you complete the level, it is unlikely to give you a good score. To get a really good 3 star score you will need to unfreeze and use the wraps on the left and release the bombs, which will give you 3000 points each when you match them... A very risky, but rewarding strategy!
I think that if you had to balance Odus while detonating the wraps needed for the orders on level 277 it could well make the level impossible to complete as there's no way to control the explosions from wraps once they start a chain reaction.

We have odus on this level - he falls off after only 3 orange! Have only reached moonburst twice in over a week of playing!

Odus is on this level now, and he's awful! Seems like he doesn't take any greens into his moon, so he falls off with oranges EVERY time. I've done everything possible to make more green than orange matches, but I can't keep him from falling off on the orange side

i am having the same problem, it is to sensitive. it falls off on the orange side everytime, i have doing this level for 2 weeks, and have only got to moonstruch once, they need to sort it out grrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol

Impossible level - think it is my last one. Otis falls with only 4 orange or green.
I've completed Candy Crush in only 6 months without buying any boosters or extra help. But this one level on Dreamworld is broken and cannot be competed.
It's impossible. I quit. I will check back in a month to see if they have fixed it -- maybe

Holy Crap Batman! As soon as I complained, I decided to play out the rest of my lives before I closed it out and I completed it!

I had never even made it to Moonstruck until this time!

I don't have a recorder any longer, but I will try to walk you through what I did.

My game came up the exact same every time with Otis falling over green and orange. If you have the same game showing up for you, there are 6 columns. There is a purple one in the first column, bring it right to the second row to make a striped candy. Then go to the 5th column and pull the green candy over to the 4th row, crushing the green and bringing the blue down to the bottom. There is a blue on the bottom row, bring it up to the second row, crushing a column of orange. The on the top row, you can crush the purple and on the third row you can kill the green
In the first column, bring the blue from the second over to create another striped candy. Bring the purple down to crush the bottom row with the striped candy. Then the red in the 6th column. From this point until moonstruck, you just want to avoid killing orange or green unless you can crush equal amounts of each until you get to the moonstruck. When you get to the moonstruck level, there should be one blue candy stuck on the column where the wrapped candy was. Do NOT try to crush. Once it is gone, then timed bombs will begin to fall. After you get back to play, just create as any wrapped as you can
Good luck

much easier to play on Iphone, odus at blue and yellow and hasn't fallen down yet. I actually forgot he was there! I haven't beaten it yet but been down to 1 wrapped several times. Played on PC and gave up after odus falling off after two or three moves.

This level was incredibly frustrating on the computer, so I moved to the mobile version. Here, Odus was frozen (no clue why); so, while I never reached a moonstruck, he was also never affected by candy color and stayed perfectly balanced the entire time. I was able to beat it pretty easily within about three or four lives.

I played on the IPad and there is no Odus and no moonstruck. When you get two wraps together on the side you can set it off. It leaves one at the top that stops the bombs from falling. It took a few tries but I completed the level.

Worst level ever. They will have to fix this as soon as possible. Everytime you fail, it starts over with the candy alligned in exactly the same way as before.
I only passed this by following Scarlett's instructions.

I cant seems to follow Scarlett's instruction completely because there are several things not doable, but is a great guide that i use to prevent odus falling and get to the moonstruck. Thanks Scarlett, you saved the gamers who played on pc. *thumbs up* !!

Thank you Scarlett!!!!!

I accidentally exploded the blue bomb at the top of the column but the time bombs didn't hurt me at all. They have a very high count on them so I was able to ignore them. It took me about a dozen times, even with your help, to win this level. There were many times before the moonstruck level that the only matches to be made were orange.

Follow her advice and get to Moonstruck. Once in Moonstruck the trick is to create as many color bombs as you can. Every turn try to explode a color bomb. Exploding one by combining it with a wrap is even better! As you explode the color bombs the wraps will continue to appear. Once you employ this method you'll find that the level really isn't that hard.

Have found the same thing.. on iPhone no Odus or Moonstruck, hope it stays that way. Otherwise, PC version Odus falls off after just a few moves. Did play twice in a row and noticed I played the same moves, didn't realize the board didn't change from game to game. If I can't get it on the iPhone, I'll try Scarlett's suggestion on the PC.

Brillant. Thanks so much, Scarlett. Followed your advice then managed to get to moonstruck and hey presto it was easy-peasy after that.

Played on ipad and beat it 2nd try. Very easy

Moonstruck on level 20. Just try to keep Odus balanced until then!
