Dreamworld level 276 impossible.

Dreamworld level 276 is generally regarded to be impossible without either extra moves or the moonstruck booster, which many players don't have and can't buy.
There are not enough moves, the cream is too many layers and there is only one moonstruck of just 3 moves..
Very often blue is one of the moon colours and is removed from the board on moonstruck. So leaving a totally useless moonstruck which is just a waste of 3 moves.
Having passed level 276 using the moonstruck booster and extra moves, I found the level 281 is EXACTLY the same board, but needing only 120 blues, with 10 more moves and wraps in the four corners!
I believe that these two levels have been switched, either by mistake, or on purpose for the sole purpose of forcing players desperate to pass to spend money.. Since this "error" was made just prior to the weekend this leaves 3 days of money making for King before the situation is rectified.
I sincerely hope I am wrong and this is a genuine mistake.

Above is level 276 and below is 281.
Note the number of moves, the blues required and the wraps in the corners.
I believe that the target fo 276 should be 120 and 281 should be 300.

Since writing this article level 276 has been changed to make it slightly easier.
Here is the NEW LEVEL 276

This level seems to me impossible. It's a quite funny and not irritating level that much because there are no time bombs or chocolate machines, but it just is impossible to get the 300 blues. I came a couple of times under the 200 blues left, one time "only" 160, but this is not possible with this many moves.

Let's see how it turnes out with King and if they intend to fix this, but to me, it's just 5-10 minutes to play and than all lives are again finished.

One of the main issues also, is that there are to many colours on the board, so in Moonstruck cascades are barely made...

No luck in the Netherlands to me sofar!

I agree that it's impossible as currently constructed. It's also similar to level 281 in Reality, which I can complete without too much trouble. There you need 300 greens, but the difference is it only has 4 colors - this one (276 in Dreamworld) has 5.

I ave played this level many many times over the past few days and only once managed to get as close as 150 left. Most of the time I'm lucky to get down to the low 200s.

I made it this far (plus 590 Reality levels) without paying for anything, and I'm not going to start now. What I'm going to do is come in every day, get my bonus from the free spin, and wait out new Reality levels. Maybe someday they'll do something to fix this one - I can dream, right? This is Dreamworld after all!

I have never received extra lives from this game. I don't often use boosters and on this level they wouldn't do much good. I would have to average 20 blues per move and for the first half there isn't room for 20 on the entire board.
I get the bugs from the previous levels, the levels that freeze if you make the required collections as Otis flies away so you have to play all over again.
This is the level that I stop playing, obviously the creators don't care.
All I wanted was hope that I could complete a level, I don't care if you duplicate levels.

Agree with the other comments. i really enjoy playing candy crush but this puts me off. i have paid for the odd extra move or candy hammers to finish off an annoying level but this level is stupid and will ultimately stop me playing the game which ultimately will cost King money....

Satan_My_Lord said...

impossible indeed, I managed twice to smash 200 hunderds canides. it seems like this is the end of dreamworld for players who they don't want to buy extra moves...

And in addition the level 276 is totally different from its correspondent in the "real world". Normally the levels in both worlds are pretty similar (if not identical).

Anonymous said...

I have try hundreds times..of this lv. IT almost make me quit playing it.. Orz....

Anonymous said...

This level is so stupid, there is no way to clear all 300 blues in such a few moves and with 1 moon crush. For now, I'm just playing to see what's the max blue I can clear, so far my record leaves 180 more for clearance. If this continue on much longer, I will say good bye to Candy Crush. I have paid for the random jelly hammer crusher, but this level is simply ridiculous, no way will I pay for any boosters of sorts.

There was only one time playing this where I felt as though completing this level without boosters was in the realm of possibility. I managed to get a massive chain reaction during the first moostruck by matching a chocolate ball with a wrapped blue candy. I had 7 moves left and only needed 76 more blue candies. Sadly, another chain reaction tipped the owl and ended the level.

I've only managed to clear more than 100 blues two other times aside from this one instance.

impossible level :-(. Not funny, just irritating.
I past but it costed me money.
On to 277 (there is no level guide at the moment) and this one has no owl or moon (dutch version on fb). Another bug?

I agree, this level is impossible without boosters. Once I got lucky and was down to 196 blue candies after the first moonstruck. So I decided to use all the three moonstruck boosters that king had given me before for free, although blue was the color in 1 of the 3 - this way I also made sure that Odus wouldn't fall off. AND I MADE IT WITHOUT PAYING!

Level 276 is messed up. I didn't really like Dreamworld very much to begin with, but this level is ridiculous. I've played it over a hundred times and never gotten even close to passing. I got down to about 125 blues left on one game. That's my closest attempt.

So I guess I'll continue to play the regular world and hope they fix this stupid level. But there is no way in hell I'm buying boosters for this. Ahahahahahahaha!

In fact, maybe this is a good time to stop playing altogether. These levels are all getting to be pretty much the same anyway. I feel insulted, though when a level can only be passed by spending money.

Every fun game eventually gets abandoned for something new. I used to play Bejeweled Blitz like crazy until Candy Crush came along. So I think its only a matter of time before something new and fun comes along that doesn't try to rape your bank account.

agreed with previous commenters. even if you get really, really lucky with the board, it's unlikely you'll ever get more than maybe 150 of the 300 required. the best i did was i got down to 54, but it was due to a lot of luck and odus fell with 1 move left during the crazy chain reaction that allowed me to get so many in the first place. i have gotten over 100 probably 30-40 times which makes me think that 100 would be a more fitting goal for this level, MAYBE 120 as the op suggested because i've gotten that probably a dozen times.

i never use boosters or extra moves so i'm just waiting for them to change the level, which has happened previously in dreamworld when they (accidentally?) made an impossible level (wish i could remember which level it was. might've been 192). one day i returned to an impossible level i'd played hundreds of times and i suddenly had an extra moonstruck and more moves, and beat it within two tries. if you stick with this level i bet you that one day you'll click on it and find it's only asking you to get 120. til then, i'll just play mindlessly...

Build up an arsenal of lollipop hammers and red switch hands. Follow the link to get 5 free hammers for playing Bubble Witch Saga 2. Wait for a good board and use the boosters to help pass the level. I managed to pass with only the aid of 2 hammers.

Anonymous said...

level has been changed you get 2 moonstrucks now and a much better chance of clearing 300 blues, I got down to only 15 left where as I only just used to manage around clearing 100 blues on the old board so its more possible to get 300 blues now happy candy crushing fans

Fabio said...

Level has been changed, you have more moves and a second Moonstruck is probably possible.

I can't say exactly what else changed, but cascades now happen much more frequently. It seems also that you need less hits to break the blocks.

Anonymous said...

Finally passed after 10's of tries after the fix. Completely a matter of luck in getting chain reactions during the Moonstrucks.

rcschaff said...

I have yet to pass level 276 even with the changes. I have been down to 25, but when the cascades start I see very few blue candies, and in some instances the chain reaction put forth absolutely ZERO blue candies. I am saving up the freebies and waiting to see if King is going to really fix the problem

Anonymous said...

With the changes it was quite easy to pass the level. Just play until you don't get a blue in the moon. Making striped/wrapped combo's really helps in cascades. This level is now possible again... Did not use any boosters.

Anonymous said...

Finally passed, without boosters. (And after they changed it to 45 moves and 2 moonstrucks.) I see my first comment was 11 days ago and I had already been trying this one without getting remotely close for a few days at that point. Ridiculous!

The only "strategy" I can suggest (we know the whole level is purely luck based), if you can swap a color bomb with a wrapped, or two wrapped, that does a lot of damage. Particularly if you can do that during the second moonstruck. That's what finally gave me the lucky cascades that I needed. Good luck!

Not hint but a "go figure" moment. I just watched one of those crazy cascades that seemed to last forever. After a week on this level, the cascade was exciting to watch, adding up 900,000 points. Only one problem. There were no blues in all of this and at the end, only 76 blues were cleared.

After having playes this level for abput 2 weeks I guess they have fix something as some of you have mentioned. I managed to pass it on my 2nd attempt. Before I was really impossible without boosters.

Anonymous said...

i'm still trying to get through. no luck. if they fixed it, i'm not getting the benefit. and i'm waiting for new levels on the regular game so that's it for me for now. feeling frustrated.

Anonymous said...

Lol just got up to this level. Not even going to waste my time.

Anonymous said...

Het is niet op te doen, dit level. Ik ga er helaas mee stoppen, want ik ga er geen geld aan uitgeven

I quid with playing, because I do not give money for a game, and it is not possible to get this level without money

Level 276 with Odus is really impossible. Do you or any of your staff play these games? Or watch the average player fumble their way through any level? Or even watch them play more than once to pure frustration?

I have played this same level game over and over for about 5 days or more.

I am lucky if I can even get 35 Blue candy by the time the first moon struck takes place.

By the time the game is over I am lucky to have collected 100 Blue candies.

There are also to many times when there is no Blue candy on the board.

And to many times that the only move on the board is one that will certainly cause Odus to fall therefor ending the game.

How on earth am I or any CC player to move forward when you Rig the game in your favor time after time?

I am not a rookie player. I pretty much have the hang of CC as I have finished level 605.

But, I was told you increased the moves for Odus in level 276. You still need to increase them again or eliminate the total number of Blue candy needed to be collected. I think you need to please practice the level yourself or someone at a average playing level and send this level back to the drawing board.

I don't mind paying a little for extra lives but at this rate I would probable have to spend $40.00 or more to get enough moves to collect all 300 blue candy.

And this would not even guarantee that Odus wouldn't fall over and I would loose after spending money.

All in all I do not like the Odus version of CC. And neither do my friends or many of the people that write comments like this one that I read.

So I am pretty much just stuck in limbo waiting for my lucky day when I win the CC lottery with Odus.

Furthermore I ask do you ever read the comments posted by your loyal fans and I mean the entire comment however long or short the comment is?

I hope you do because each of us that take the time to write and sound off about CC should be able to expect that what we are voicing our opinions about matter to you as much as they do us or we wouldn't have taken the time to write them.

My best game with 4 moves left and Odus fell and I still needed 140 Blue candy. That is still a very large amount of blue candy to pay for extra moves.

Hoping you let me win soon?
Or I will be leaving the game.

Was fun while it lasted.

I also really like having the double lives but I think All the players should be privileged to double lives seeing that Odus and the regular candy crush are two separate games they should be awarded 5 lives each.

I also would like to see you bring back the unlimited games for the 2 hour time frame like you did about a month ago. I never had money in my account to participate in it. This should be a option every day.

I also would like to see a daily spin for both Odus and the regular CC.

But think we should be allowed to mix and match and use them on either version of CC.

I have tried starting level 276 with my specials from the daily spin only to feel ripped off as I am forced to use the chocolate sprinkle candy within 5 moves as there is no other move to be made. Therefor I never get to use it to its full potential with a striped candy. Even when I get a chocolate sprinkle on my own in this level it explodes many times on its own. I would like to bd able to pick for myself what color I want to eliminate.

I feel that my daily spins should be treated more fairly by C C.

The same thing happens when I use the wrapped/striped candy from the daily spin. You don't even place them next to each other on the board.

This is frustrating I do not have a way to get extra life's or gold bars as I don't have Face Book and don't intend to get it.

Is there now one from the makers from CC, how can tell us what to do, for this level? We are we putting comments on this site, and nobody gives an answer?

Anonymous said...

This is a ridiculous level to complete!!! I have used my moon struck for nothing because the blue candy was swiped away and you can't find the blue candy anywhere. So annoying!

Unknown said...

I was very annoyed by this level, and after reading this forum, I was determined to win it. I beat the level 2x in a row. The key is to keep breaking the stones and try to use the 2 otus colors as little as possible. (unless there are no more options to break a stone.) once you are 1 or 2 moves away from moonsrtuck try to a have a chocolate ball, a wrapped candy, and/or a striped candy. Once you enter moonstruck, hover your mouse over one of the 2 colors to get rid of candies of that color(yes you can actually control that, make sure it's not the blue or you will not have any blue left on the board).
Now, use mostly your special candies during moonstruck, and if you use the chocolate ball make sure you don't try to detonate blues. you will get huge cascades if you do this right.
Repeat the above steps after the moonstruck is over, and you shall win with no boosters.
Sorry for all the run-on sentences and for not using the right name for the "Stones"

I wish I had read the previous comment from Justine before I decided to resort to extra moves. I knew nothing of the trick of controlling the colour by hovering over the ones you want removed during moonstruck. I decided to fork out as believed it impossible otherwise. I reasoned that depending on what it cost me would decide if I stay in the game should they ever pull this stunt again. For those who are interested it cost me approx £11 sterling and if they do pull this stunt again and I am unable to use the tips from Justine my addiction will be cured fast !!

I've just this minute completed level 276 on dream world, I've been stuck on it for about 2 weeks, I was starting to think that it was impossible, all I can say is persevere it is possible and I can't believe I've done it with no boosters and did it on my iPad ....Sally

Hunter MacLean said...

I too thought this one was not possible but I beat it on Facebook, without boosters and with 5 moves left. You really do have to get lucky because you need moonstruck to not zap your blues. Fortunately both my moonstrucks kept blues in the playing field. Don't lose hope if you have 150+ by the last moonstruck because I kept on getting colorbombs and everything was exploding left and right.

Keep playing. You'll get it. It's not impossible.

Anonymous said...

If a level is taking 2 weeks or longer to pass it is pretty impossible. I have played the level the week and as others mention is luck. Problem is a game of strategy should not be based on luck either. This by far the worst level designed and can guarantee this level will force a good amount of people to quit playing. This level is by far geared toward people buying to pass.

Anonymous said...

I got down to 25 blues left to get, just need to clear as much as you can before the lasr moonstrike. I think it can be done.

Anonymous said...

Very hard but not impossible. My best with no booster is with 8 left.

Anonymous said...

I hate Dreamworld, and only play it while waiting for new episodes in the original Candy Crush. THIS level is pretty impossible, the best I've done is still needing 75 blue candies to complete. As much as the Moonstruck clears blue, I managed a few times to keep blue but still no luck with even coming close. I have paid for different levels, I can't see how paying for this one will help. You are always at the risk of the owl falling off.

Anonymous said...

Lowest I got down to is 68 left, so far. After 272, didn't expect another level this hard yet. Oh we'll, gotta keep trying. Good luck everyone.

Anonymous said...

Just beat this level. You have to beat it on a PC or Mac; you are not going to get the chain reactions you need on a mobile device. It will never happen. I have beaten every Candy Crush Saga level available to date without paying a dime. Good luck.

Anonymous said...

Actually got down to 65 left on ipad. Might as we'll be 299 though lol. Keeping at it

Roberta said...

Don't even try on iPad. Impossible to get even close. After reading these blogs I went to the computer and beat it quickly. It was actually fun there. This was not the first time a level was easier on the computer.

Anonymous said...

Unfortunately ipad is the only option I have, thanx anyway. King should make all the levels equal for all devices to be fair, I think. Oh we'll, time will tell.

Anonymous said...

Once again I've had to resort to turning on the PC to do this level . I generally play on the iPad but this level is virtually impossible on that device - passed at the third attempt on the PC . It really should be a level playing field .

Michael said...

I have been on this level for ages. I play on both pc and mac have yet to see the modifications made to this level. on both computers, switch to dreamworld, press play and same old board. what gives?. As far as i am aware both machines have the latest updates

Anonymous said...

FINALLY beat this level after being convinced it was impossible. The thing that worked best was trying to create a lot of cascading.. which would create speckled bombs, wraps, stripes.. no matter the color. Was able to get a good round going before 1st moonstruck, 2nd moonstruck sealed the deal. Agree with others, if you lose the blue color in either moonstruck, quit the game.

Anonymous said...

Just seems impossible on ipad even though a few people said they passed it. Maybe King will tweet it a little so us ipad users have a chance.

Anonymous said...

I have been on this level for over a month and played it well over 1000 times. I finally give up. The lowest I got was 25 left. Screw Dreamworld. I will only play Candy Crush from now on. I only wish they would hurry up and open new sections faster!

Anonymous said...

Funny....I posted a "Hate Dreamworld" post and never to go back again and I reread some posts. I went back 1 time....I swear it was different. That ONE time let me pass it! Maybe they monitor your computer and after you complain.....?????

Anonymous said...

Wish that would happen to me lol. If I could even get close to beating this level, would feel better about playing it, but that's not happening. King is about to loose ANOTHER player.

Anonymous said...

I have been on this level a month using my Ipad. I have literally played at least 700 games. I am done with Dreamworld!

Anonymous said...

This level now has 60 moves rather than 45 so with a bit of luck should be do-able

Anonymous said...

Played on PC and passed with 7 moves left. Started with blue on the left of the moon scale and was going to cancel out of the game but played on and glad I did. Blues were falling constantly with lots of combos and explosions. It was amazing to watch as I also thought I would never pass this level. The closest I had got before this was 56 blue left. It does go to show to persist and you will eventually pass it. I thought level 272 was a horror and it took me 12 days and many many tries to finally get past it using 2 hammers. Good luck.
