I hate this level so much that it is breaking my addiction to CC as not worth getting frustrated over

I agree with Dave's comment! I can't even come close to getting rid of all the jellies because of the damn licorice swirls. I even tried matching a chocolate ball with a fish to get multiple. I haven't managed to get chocolate ball/stripe combo yet though. Maybe that will do it!

BOGUS VIDEO! IT uses hammers!

Where are all the comments/suggestions? This level seems pretty impossible!

OK - there has to be a secret on how to get less licorice to fall. What is it? Sometimes regular candies fall but most of the time licorice falls and this level is impossible unless mostly candy falls. IS there some way to control this? Even stripe/color bomb combos are useless when all licorice falls!

Yoohoo!
I found the answer to the question posed above - here it is!

Strategy:

Activate the jelly fish while destroying a licorice swirl on the right side. This makes the licorice dispensers spawn candies instead of licorice swirls.
The licorice dispensers will always spawn some licorice swirls, unless your last move immediately destroyed licorice. (That is, you must have initially made a match adjacent to a licorice swirl to destroy it. Even if you make a cascade that destroyed some licorice, or you used a special candy combo that destroyed licorice, that won't stop the flow of licorice.)
In particular, don't rely on special candy combos to get the job done on the left side. Use normal candy matches to cut down the licorice.
Use the licorice swirls on the right side wisely. They won't respawn there.
Moon Struck happens when there are 10 moves left, and some Jelly Fish will likely be activated at that time. When there are 11 moves left, try to make a move that destroys a licorice swirl so that more candies spawn on the left side.
I finished it in two tries using this strategy. It is really important to activate the fish only at the same time you are destroying licorice. Once you get enough candy on the left side, you can match items on the LEFT side and easily destroy some licorice with it thus dropping more candy. Always try to destroy the top squares first if you have a choice. It is VERY important on move 11 to destroy a licorice (even if no fish are activated) because then only candies will drop on that first crucial moonstruck move when a color is removed! Good luck!

Besides using a hammer, she also used the early Moonstruck Booster. Makes you not want to play anymore when the video doesn't show how you can win without any boosters.

Thanks to Anonymous on June 20, 2014 at 7:08 AM - this really works! I managed to complete on the 3rd try after reading this by only deploying a fish if the previous move had destroyed liquorice. Of course you need a bit of luck with the board too, but it's the only way to keep the liquorice under control and destroy the jelly. Thank you Anonymous! AS

Awesome strategy! One try and i finished the level with three stars.
*In your first few moves try to make simple 3 candy matches or better yet make special candies.
* Open up the jelly fish area so some fishes will open the locked candies and bring candies down the left board.
* Important trick: make matches that eliminates licorice.
Then activate the fish. New candies will fall down. If your last move did not eliminate any licorice, when you activate the fish lots of licorice will come down.
* when your left board is open make all matches here to clear jelly.
* in move 11, eliminate a licorice when moonstruck comes it activates most fish that will help in making just candies no licorice, fall.
Good luck!
